We woke up to
birds chirping and warm rays of
sunshine beaming through our window on our well rested faces. We walked into the kitchen and Darth had prepared us a delectable breakfast of chocolate waffles with
fresh fruit and whipped cream,
fresh squeezed orange juice, and he even did the dishes. "What a beautiful morning" we said. "We should take advantage of this wonderful
December day and go for a relaxing walk and find our perfect Christmas tree" So we put on our shorts and put together a delicious picnic basket and headed off into the forest with our well behaved hound.

Not really. We woke up to a blizzard. And what else would we want to do but drive to Idaho falls to finish up our Christmas shopping. We got there, slower than usual, but we got there. We managed to get pretty much none of our Christmas shopping done just in time for the winter wonder to kick back in. We decided to go home before the roads closed, so off we went into the snowy bliss. We made it, but we owe a few apologies. I should apologise to the man in the large Dodge that passed several vehicles in a row even though you could barely see past the hood of your car. I should apologize because I wished him off the road before he killed someone. But since I never saw him in the ditch, I wont apologize. I do however apologize to Britt, publicly, for ditching her and her husband once agian. I'm sure she will get used to it though, since she is now one of the middle children. I should apologize to my sister in advance, in case we have no ugly sweaters, since we never made it to the "special" store. And probably anyone who shops this time of year owes everyone an apology for being crabby in the stores after getting smashed into a wall or clothing rack. After all....Tiss the Season!!!
