That hair.

What in the world will we do with that hair?

Its pretty out of control. I have a feeling it will match her personality.

And can I just say one more time how incredibly adorable she is?

On a completely unrelated and not so cute note:

We found hobo's.

As in spiders. Not a homeless person.

And let me tell you-if spiders give you the shivers (like they do me) this spider will give you shivers for hours after you see it, accompanied by that feeling of having spiders crawling on you every time you do anything. She's a big one.

The first one was found by the Rogman-dead thankfully. Nasty little (big) thing.

This particular hobo made the mistake of making its home in our archery shop. It is now dead.Probably should have stuck the road and traveled a little farther. 

If I am ever brave enough to open the jar I will get some up close (and preferably in focus) pics of this bad boy (girl, actually. We found out it is a girl, ready to lay eggs. SHIVER) I will post some so you can identify any hobos that may have found refuge at your house, and maybe share the story of how Tyson brought her IN OUR HOUSE. UUUGGGGGHHHHHHHHUGH.

But for now, lets leave this post on a less horrible note

why we live here

How many people can go out in their yard in the morning and see this?

Yes, that is a moose.

We havn't had moose in our yard since we moved from the mountain into "town". Up there we were spoiled. There was a big HUGE mama moose and her twin babies. They came literally right up to our house every night and we could sit out on the deck and watch them.

Its pretty awesome to have such a big, powerful animal right in your backyard.

OK, maybe this one wasnt "in" our yard (sorry for the grainy pic). But it was pretty darn close.

Last night, laying on bed, boy comes and sits on my stomach, bouncing, making driving noises. 

Ask him what he's doing.

His reply: "driving you crazy!"

to the mom: I think I stole your socks.

Rogan Says

The other day the dad's car wouldn't start, so he took our pickup to work. Rogan looked in the garage, and questioned why daddy didn't take the car.

I told him the car was broke today.

He simply said: "Fix it. Daddy fix it."

Yards are pretty easy to maintain when they only consist of rocks, alfalfa, and one tree.

Do you ever have one of those mornings that the sun comes up long before you are ready to wake up? So you pull your pillow over your head to block out the light in hopes of getting just a few more minutes of shuteye?

We LOVE it when he sleeps in.

I know its not uncommon for kids to try to wear mom/dads shoes...

But what about when they start eating the shoelaces?

But wait-it gets better....

We still aren't sure where this face came from-but his face usually turns bright red and he holds his breath.

And when he started yelling at the dog to lay down this morning I realized what I must sound like.
