He's back!

How is it that one can go from taking hundreds of pictures to taking none? And go camping on a beautiful weekend and take a total of 4 pictures? Well, thats how things are done around here.
So here you have the mountain man wondering off into the wilderness with his chainsaw. You see, that's how REAL mountain men get their firewood. The idea is to conserve your energy for more important matters.
The mountain boy wasn't too thrilled with the idea of the chainsaw. He did, however, love cleaning up the aftermath and hauling it back to camp. That became his official job. And I have never seen a better fire keeper.
I challenge everyone to get out and enjoy the quiet, beautiful wilderness we are blessed with. There is nothing like taking your family away from all of the worlds distractions and spending time together...

Zoo Adventures

Sister took us to the zoo.
There was so much to see and do.
We zipped from place to place.
And saw a little bit of everything.
The boy was intrigued by the gorillas. I however, find them a little too creepy.
I do, however, find this little pony quite cute. I wonder if my mountain man could make me one?
Juice breaks are always a welcome time.
The dinosaurs were fun.
As long as you kept a distance.
His dream came true when he hopped on the train and sped around the zoo.
But the highlight of the day was the carousel. I have never seen such a big smile....

A Day in the Park

Because the kids were all a little hesitant to slide down the pole.....
Aunt Sheena had to go first.
Racing down the slide is always fun....
And there's nothing like playing in a pile of wood chips.
And who wouldn't have fun playing tree fort?
