CALLING ALL ARCHERS!!!!

And non archers. We need you facebookers too! (is facebookers a word? we are new the world of facebooking, so I dont know the real facebookaholics lingo) Attention Hunger Games lovers (wink wink at sheena)
As some of you may know, Tyson has opened an archery shop. We received our first order of bows last night! YAY!

SO-we need help getting his name out there! Thats where you, my millions of trusty, loyal, faithful, archery loving readers come in. OK, even if your not all that into archery. Or even if your not trusty, loyal or faithful.
So if you fellow facebookies could simply "like" Pure Archery it would be awesome. Even if you don't really like archery. I promise you will like Pure Archery. But first you have to "like" Pure Archery.
Also-check out Tysons fancy new website he's been working on (there is a Pure Archery link to your left for future reference (smile-wink)). He loves feedback so please comment on anything you think he might want to change/add.
And if you ask him nice, he could get you everything you need to make you as awesome like Katniss.

catch-up

First off- 4th of July
We went to the parade-which the boy loved. It took him a few minutes to figure out why people we're driving/walking by throwing candy at him-but pretty quick he decided that was really the only reason to be at the parade.
He absolutely loved the tractors of course. He currently still wants to be a farmer when he grows up. And a monster truck driver.
And a dog-so he can drink out of the dog dish.
But his favorite part of the parade was the firetrucks. I failed to get a picture of these though because We found a really nice open spot to stand right in front of the firestation (where they were bbqing up some amazing smelling burgers, which we forgot to bring money for). This was a great place to be for the show-just not ideal for taking pictures of firetrucks on a 90* morning. Why? Well, they decided to unload their hose on their fellow firemen, who happened to be standing directly behind us. Not a problem-Rogan loved it and we got a little we to help us cool off. Just not ideal for picture taking.
So...since our mountains are currently on fire (as is this entire part of the country from the sounds of it) there was (still is, since fireworks are legal year round here) a firework ban on. The town show was canceled last minute which was a bummer. But I figured, Rogan will be happy just seeing a few online. So I looked up the Macy's firework show.
And sure, Rogan was fine watching A FEW. But trust me, there is nothing remotely similar to watching fireworks in person, and watching them on the computer. NOTHING. We got bored within about 2 minutes.
Our fire ban meant microwaved s'mores.
Not quite the same, but hey-we're not about to turn down a s'more over a little thing like that.
So with our party coming to an early end, we convinced the mountain man to take us for a walk.
A walk through the dandelions. Rogan struggled trying to pick them. And gave up. We grow insanely strong dandelions here.
Remember this little girl? Remember how we celebrated her test results? Apparently I jumped the gun on that one. Or I guess around here maybe I'd be jumping the bow? Since guns are not our weapon of choice in this house.
So like I said-her results came back negative. Yay! But apparently because of her other positives in other tests, they still don't know if she really has this troublemaking disorder. So we are off to the big city on monday to see a metabolic specialist and see if we can get some answers for this happy little munchkin of ours.
Sorry for the false celebration. But keep celebrating-because not matter what she is a happy, chubby little lady!
And her big brother thinks she is "so darn cute!"
