More Montana

We fed birds at the park with Grandma, Papa, and Great Grandma Rowley...
Some time playing in the hay

And we got to spend some much needed time with poor old Casey
Even the boy had a turn....
The End

Oh, and mom-he is still talking about fried chicken as I post this....

Fort Missoula

Last week Rogan very happily (and very quickly) darted from one piece of machinery to another, loving every minute spent at Fort Missoula.
Since the boy couldn't stand still long enough for a picture, Papa had to put him in a tree.

While the Dad is away learning firearm safety, we are teaching his son things like this.....
What a fun day!

Grandpa's Trains

Yesterday we went to Missoula to see Grandma and Grandpa.
We had so much fun, and Rogan had a chance to play with his Great Grandpa's trains.
The detail and amount of time Grandpa puts into his trains amazes me.
It also amazes Rogan.

So many trains to choose from....
more Missoula fun to come....

for the dad

We are missing the dad.
He took us to the archery shoot last weekend.
Then he had to leave us.
We are missing him terribly.
So this post is for him.
Dear the dad,
Your son grew a tail.
And is kind of wierd.
But his great grandparents still went in public with him and treated him to lunch.
Even though he is really kind of odd.
And he got to ride in one of Papa's fancy trucks.
And see lots of tractors.
But he sure misses his Daddy.
And we love you. Tons.
More tons than these milk trucks can haul.
Love, your family.

2 years, 2 parties

This weekend we had the boys 2nd, 2nd birthday party.

We did a little of everything. And a lot of eating.

We even got a little sledding in.

He loved playing with his cousins. He is still talking about it.

We went down the "hill" over and over again. Usually on a sled.

Sometimes without one...

Now, if I could just convince everyone to move here....

Montana

I've lived on top of the mountain in Wyoming for 4 years now, but every time we go to Montana, it still feels like home.
And who would have thought this rambunctious girl would one day turn into such a good friend for all the kiddos?
We went to Missoula to see GG and Papa G. We played in the park-
The swings didn't seem so bad at first...
Maybe the slide will be better?
Not really.
Papa G's trains! He has put so much work in to this awesome display-A real artist.
Someday I want to do this.
The kids all watched the train and couldn't seem to get enough of it.

We love going to Montana.
Stay tuned for the adventures of Lucy.
